○Dropについて

Dropは、ガラス作家・池本美和さんとのコラボレーション作品です。
テキスタイルを制作する工程で生じる糸くずを、透明なガラスの内部に封入した一点もののオブジェです。

糸の重なりや色の混ざり方、気泡の入り方などはすべて異なり、同じものは二つとありません。
またガラス越しに見ることで、糸の一部がわずかに拡大されて見えたり、湾曲して見えたりと、角度や光の条件によって見え方が変化します。

○about "Drop" 

Drop is a collaborative work with glass artist Miwa Ikemoto.
It is a one-of-a-kind object in which yarn offcuts produced during the textile-making process are encapsulated inside clear glass.

The layering of the threads, the way the colors blend, and the presence and placement of air bubbles all differ from piece to piece—no two are the same.
Viewed through the glass, parts of the threads may appear slightly magnified or subtly curved, and the appearance shifts depending on the angle and the lighting conditions.
