○カルテットについて
カルテットは残糸を活用してできた多重織のブランケットです。
形状はユニークで、中央は袋状、その両端に２枚ずつ生地がつながっています。広げると大判で全身が覆えるサイズ・袋をひっくり返すと正方形のコンパクトな膝掛けサイズになります。表と裏で印象が違うので、気分に合わせて使い分けることができます。
薄い生地の層は軽くてとても暖かく、肩からかけても心地よいブランケットです。4色の糸の層が織りなすさまざまな表情をお楽しみください。
○残糸について
カルテットは私たちがものづくりをしていく中で余ってしまったウールの残糸をヨコ糸に100%使用しています。
普段私たちがテキスタイルをデザインする過程で、配色を決めるために少量の糸を購入しテスト織します。その積み重ねで、本番に使われなかった糸が残糸として増え続けてしまっていました。その糸を活用してできたのがカルテットです。残糸なので1点ものも多く、同じ配色は多くても2~3枚程度しかありません。さまざまな色の組み合わせからぜひお気に入りの一枚を見つけてみてください。

○About "QUARTET"
QUARTET is a multiple weave blanket made from leftover yarns. The form is unique.
The center is like a bag, with two layers of fabric connected to each end. When spread out, it is large enough to cover your entire body, and when turned inside out, it becomes a compact square lap blanket. The inside and outside have different colors, so you can use them for different activities to suit your mood. The layers of thin woven yarn are lightweight and warm, making it comfortable to drop over your shoulders. Enjoy the various appearances woven by the four colored layers of yarn.
○About the Leftover Yarn
QUARTET uses weft yarn made from 100% leftover wool that is remains after our manufacturing process. Normally during our textile design process, we purchase a small amount of yarn to test weave it for determining the color scheme. Our pile of leftover yarn from the production process kept growing larger. QUARTET is the result of utilizing this yarn. Because it is made from leftover yarn, many of them are one-of-a-kind, and there are only 2 or 3 pieces with the same color theme. We encourage you to find your favorite from the variety of color combinations.
